During the last two decades, the institute has grown into an internationally reputed centre of excellence in salinity research with extensive collaboration with organizations like FAO, ILRI, IFPRI, IRRI, IWMI, DFID. At the national level, linkages with HLRDC, UPLDC, DST, DBT, NWDB etc. have proved very productive.
